Composting Project/h3>

The main objective of the composting project developed by the Terra Vida Institute is to implement sustainable actions, taking into account Brazil's National Solid Waste Policy, with a program to adapt the management of the organic waste generated, covering aspects related to minimization, segregation, collection, storage, internal transport, external and final disposal, with an innovative solution in the management of organic waste.


1. Indoor Composting

Through the bio-optimization process with the addition of specific enzymes in a 100% natural way, the residue is decharacterized in 15 minutes, with total control of humidity, odor, pathogens and no slurry.




Our solution has a compact, flexible, efficient and clean technology, where only 30m2 is required for the installation of a unit in a container, which transforms the organic residue into a very rich fertilizer, quickly, without attracting vectors and without odor .

By having a compact unit that does not produce odor, composting can be carried out on site, avoiding trash transportation to landfills and ideal to be implanted in Shopping Malls, Supermarkets, City Markets, Farm Markets, Condos, Schools, Universities and Factories, which are large producers of organic waste of excellent nutritional composition for the generation of compost (fertilizer) of excellent quality.

2. Urban Composting

The composting process is carried out in a licensed area, with adequate soil management, effluent and rainwater control.

The composting units, because they are modular, have the capacity to service from a thousand inhabitants. The organic residues from the urban collection and pruning will be classified according to their origin and physico-chemical composition and then sent to the composting, which will have periodic monitoring by laboratory analysis to assure the quality control.
